Where: Park City Lions Club Building located at Bell’s Tavern Park
Time: Refreshments served at 5:30 P.M., Meeting begins at 6:00 p.m.
What if Park City were a Kentucky Trail Town city? Can you imagine how that might transform our tourism efforts and boost our local economy?
The Park City Mayor and City Commission in conjunction with the Park City Tourist and Convention Commission want to make this dream a reality. They invite you to work with them to assess the feasibility of the City submitting an application for Trail Town designation. Community involvement is critical to the application and the City cannot be successful without you, our residents and area community partners, participating in the application process.
What’s an Informational Session?
This Informational Session will give local residents an opportunity to voice their opinions and tell city leaders your level of interest and participation in becoming a Kentucky Trail Town.
During the Informational Session we will discuss the application process, assess what has already been accomplished, determine what must be done to complete the application, and ascertain the interest of local volunteers in completing the application. Kentucky Trail Town is a collaborative effort and must be accomplished with the involvement of local residents and our area’s community partners.
This initiative is funded by the City of Park City. It is being led by community development advisors from the Kentucky League of Cities (KLC). The listening session will be collaborative and transparent.
